BIG DAY

August 3rd is a big, big day.  Baby Frances is having her heart surgery.  They are checked into the hospital and the surgery should begin first thing in the morning.  You can follow the progress on  Anna Ruth's blog.  Please say an extra prayer for Frances, Anna Ruth and Will, and the doctors and nurses at UAB. 

I wish I could be there for support and to keep them company but the best I can do is say prayers, send positive thoughts, and keep Anna Ruth occupied by playing Words With Friends. 

Other things going on August 3rd....
  • We have a check in with the doctor in Memphis.  Always great to peak at the girls and see how they are doing.
  • Jack and I were married 9 years ago on August 3rd!  Crazy.  It has been an amazing 9 years and I think it is a pretty sure bet that our years to come will be an adventure.
  • Carolyn and Nathan also celebrate an anniversary August 3rd - 15 years!  (I think 15?)

    I was just thinking about how I knew that a successful surgery for Frances would give the fam another thing to celebrate on August 3rd. I always remember yours and Carolyn's anniversaries b/c it is Lauren's bday. Hope all goes well at the dr. tomorrow.
